Dear forum members,

I have developed some websites with Joomla so I have some experience but today I ran into a problem I cannot solve: I would like to use this artisteer template http://templatefiles.artisteer.com/137/HTML/index.html# So I downloaded it from the Artisteer site and opened it in Artisteer. To run the template with Joomla, you then have to change the template to Joomla in Artisteer. After this the 4 information squares (our clinic, technologies, etc) disappear from the template.
My question is: how can I create this kind of squares in Joomla? I am completely lost on how to solve this.

Thanks!
Hans

You should be asking this in the Artisteer forums, not here on the Joomla forums, but I'll answer anyway:

In Artisteer, the squares on the side are the left and/or right module positions. If you mean they disappear in Artisteer, you need to create the styling for the left/right columns using Artisteer.

If you mean they disappear when you install the template on Joomla, you need to create those 4 "squares" - they are likely modules.

Use www.yourdomain.com/index.php?tp=1 to show your module positions.

They might also be styled as four articles, and you'll need to change how the frontpage is laid out, by changing the parameters in your Menu Manager->Home link.
