It sounds like you want to edit something in the footer of your site?
The footer could be a part of the template's HTML file or it could be in a module placed in the Footer position. You will have to check for a module in the footer position, you can filter the modules by position to narrow it down, in the Module Manager. The other place to check is at the bottom of your template's HTML file in the Template Manager select the default template to edit(should be the one with the Star icon).

The box is next to the footer at the bottom on the very left and it says debug(none out line) it has my company name in it which i wish to change, i will send you my web site address so you can see it.

You can attach images to a post in this thread or if you wish you can PM me a link to images.
Please do not email unless asked to as emails from the forum, without consent, go to my trash due to spam. You will need at least five posts to the forum before you can use the PM button.

It is Good Friday in the UK so it is a Bank Holiday Weekend and the weather is good so we try and get things dealt with whilst we can.

The PM button sends a private message on the forum. If you look at the top menu;
Home 0 new messages User Control Panel .......
Where it says "0 new messages" is the link to your Private Message area, it will display a count if you have messages.

Joomla Docs would be a good place to start;
http://docs.joomla.org/

Here are some books recommended by Joomla.org here;
http://www.joomla.org/joomla-press-official-books.html

There is a free Joomla 2.5 book here;
http://cocoate.com/sites/cocoate.com/fi ... /j25en.pdf

Here are a couple of books I started with;
Beginning Joomla!
by Dan Rahmel
Apress | April 26, 2009 | Trade Paperback

Beginning Joomla! Web Site Development
by Cory Webb
Wiley | April 6, 2009 | Trade Paperback

There are many tutorials on [youtube].
