How do I change the top banner ("Quatum of Solace"?
I could not find it in the Media Manager

You will not see it under Media Manager. The picture you are referring to is banner-home-1.jpg and it is located in the directory /templates/ja_tube/images/

What is mentioned is a directory structure. You have to use File Manager kind of application to review the list of files. The directory structure will be below/within the directory where you have installed Joomla!

Here, I have another problem:

I cannot find where to change the background color - file manager works for me, but I don't know which page?

The background change for this template is not simple enough. You have to review and change several css entries listed below. Several entries have background images. You may have to remover the reference to those image files by removing the url entry itsefl from the the css command background.

The css file is template.css and is located in the directory /templates/ja_tube/css/.

Alright, i'm slow to catch on. I still don't understand how to change the Quantum of Solace logo into another one. I know I have to use a Media Manager, and I know where the banner is located.

Do I just give the banner I want to put there the same name, and do the old switcheroo on it, or do I have to go into one of the files and do something? If so which file because I'm completely lost lol.

You will not see it under Media Manager. The picture you are referring to is banner-home-1.jpg and it is located in the directory /templates/ja_tube/images/

So you have to replace the image referenced in the corresponding directory specified. You could replace the existing image and copy your image & rename it as banner-home-1.jpg.

You can just use tools such as File Manager to upload the image. There is no need to use Media Manager.
