Changing Template form Unwritable to Writable

How do I change the template from writable to writable?

What is the easiest way?
10 years ago I hired someone to create a site in Joomla......

I need help to make the world a better place.

you have to change the Template Folder Permission..this can be done by any FTP software or in your Web Server Control Panel e.g. cPanel...

Change the Folder Permission to 775....and check it still problem persist change the folder permission to 777 but 777 its not safe....

I do only use cPanel and Hlem...so the steps is login in to your cPanel - go to - File Manager - Go to the Folder you want to change the permission - click the folder and you will see the option for changing the Folder Permission.

FTP Method - Login in to your FTP usnig any good software like FileZilla then go to the folder and right click on it you will see the option for changing the Folder Permission.
