How to add a drop down for jooomla sub menus in my main menu

Please my template does not create a drop down menu for menu items listed as sub menu as with other templates, how can i make it support sub-menus as drop-down menus

I believe that you are referring to drop-down menus.

First of all you have to make sure that your template supports drop-down menus.

What template are you using? If you are not using one of the templates that comes with Joomla1, where have you downloaded the template from?

Dropdown menus are template dependent. If the templates have appropriate css entries then the dropdown menus would show up.

You could also explore the possibility of using extensions such as Superfish Dropwdown Menu (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... menus/6731).
