Bluestork - Default Template, 1.6 Beta

I have Joomla V1.6 Beta installed and I have the Bluestork Template as a default when Installed. I cannot seem to change it? Am I missing something ( I would not be surprised if I am, I am a newbie with Joomla). I do not mind the Bluestork Template, but I cannot edit the template. It seems to be locked down. First thing I wanted to do to the template was switch out the Joomla banner/header at the top. I would like to get rid out it and replace it with my own. Any guidance out there, please?

If you go to the Template Manager then the Templates tab/view, you should see a link that says bluestork Details where you can edit the template.

I tried that! It's grayed out, so I cannot edit the template. Additionally this template has different options then the other templates that were provided in the install.
