What is best practice to start making Joomla templates for someone who can make static html but no experience with Joomla templates?
What is your advice, to use some Joomla framework or to start from blank pages?

Some will use and some will not use I guess. I`m one of the second people that not use one of this frameworks, I use my own little framework.
You must decide this for your own, do not use a tool because someone else using it, use it when YOU want to use it.

Great tips candyjsn.

Would be really great and informative if you could update this post with the new feature offered from the framework.

Thank you for your comments, exoduser. I'll consider it.

Do you know any other nice frameworks? I'd love to study more about them.
