Saving an 1.5 Template

I'm moving my site to Joomla 2.5 by starting an entirely new file in my web hosting and then deleting the old site. I downloaded all my articles but I'm wondering how I can save my template and transfer it into a new Joomla 2.5 site.

Is there a way to do this for modules as well?

You can convert your Joomla 1.5 template to a Joomla 2.5 one but it is not easy. It may be simpler to find a new Joomla 2.5 template you like.
