Hello
I have installed the new joomla 1.6 and tried to edit the beez2 template.

I have changed the position of the top menu and removed the the font size function.

I have now a space betweed the top menu and the header-logo, i need to remove it so that the logo-header rest just under the topmenu.

Go to your server and find the file personal.css in the css folder of the beez2 template folder. On line 92 you'll see this: "{padding-top:8.0em ;"
I changed this to "{padding-top:3.0em ;" and most of the white space went away.

Took me a while to find out but there you go.

Howard

I'm wondering the same thing as coscho, and also want to know how one can remove the extraneous logo bits. Right now in the logo spot it shows my logo on top of the original logo with the "We are volunteers!" on the side.

I am having a similar problem, I am trying to remove the green background from the beez2 template without removing the whole header (which is the only suggestion I could find) as per http://www.folkandroots.co.uk/MondayMonday/joomla/

Could anyone point in the direction of the correct file I need to edit to remove the background colours?
