A relative newby to Joomla. I am using a three column template from Siteground. On my Front Page, using the centre column which is 854 pix. wide, the lines in the article that I published to the Front page overshoot the width of the column. As best as I can tell looking at the HTML code, the width is 100%. The article lines, I think, are at 100%. Looked at the CSS and it appears not to be a problem.

Is there something I'm missing? I could type each line and not wrap but that does not seem useful nor good style. Is there anything I can do to rectify this problem?

Many thanks for your help. Norm.

Thanks for your response. Below is the URL
http://www.nmh.ca/15/

This is a test site that I am using to set up our church website eventually. Hence, many of the things are simply fillers - photos and most of the script. The line: "Welcome to our Website and Church Family" is supposed to be centered but it wont seem to do it. Other lines farther down drop off on the right.

Is there something I should be giving you - article page?

Regards, Norm.

is the "Welcome to our Website and Church Family" article title? I don't see it article title. But if it article title you can edit your template.css find the .componentheading you can edit that.

If you use firefox you can easily edit your css just install firebug and web developer toolbar.

Thanks for your response. No, the article title is "West Point Grey United Church" which I had set as "No show" in the parameters. This is not to be confused with the church name over the top border.

Thanks for the editing direction. Will give it a try and see if I can figure it out.

Norm.

Woops - now I've done something quite wrong. I managed to turn the template into a black background while I tried to edit the template.css. Guidance here on what I must have done would be very helpful. Thanks. Norm.
