I have a couple stores over at Cafepress.  I have seen some folks thre create websites around their CafePress stores using I think the Cafepress API's.  I searched the forum here and didn't see anything, so I thought I would ask.

I tried that, and they seem to be able to communicate to payPal, and quote their terms and conditions!

If anyone is still interested, CaPoomla is coming back. They have, and have always had GREAT support

I can't find CaPoomla anywhere but on the Russian Joomla! site. Does anyone have any experience they can report?

Is it free? If so I might try it anyway. If you list it in the extensions directory at www.joomla.org I'll be happy to report my experience with it.

If it's not free I'd prefer to hear from other users first.

graemelg, did you get this figured out? I have someone asking me now and am worried about trying J!Cafe based on what I'm reading online this afternoon.

I gave him a copy of CaPoomla and never heard back from him.. i guess he worked it out. would you like a copy too?

Maybe ... but I'm unclear on a few things. I'm looking at a sample capoomla site (found through google) and it seems when you "add to cart" it's sending to cafepress.com and stays there. If so, what makes this different than just embedding cafe press items individually as content?

no difference, its just easier for shops with a lot of categories and stuff.. once you install capoomla, it copies your whole cafepress shop over to your joomla website. afterwards, when you add or update products in cafepress, capoomla updates your site automatically..

you're right though, i should find a way to make it stay on your site after you add something to the cart.. no one has ever brought that up before

My client was interested in a seamless integration, which J!Cafe pro seemed to offer ... but from what I'm reading it doesn't work properly. I'm seeing posts all over looking for a great Cafepress integration, so I am sure that it would do well for someone to develop.

I'd love to try either of these if someone is working on a Joomla 1.6 compat version.
