Upload/download files - Extension recomendations?

Hi.

I'm looking for an extension with which you can create categories, set permissions, upload files and download files with.

Can anyone recommend an extension with these features?

I'm running joomla 1.5.2. I can see that this is a legacy component, how well dos this work with joomla 1.5.2?`

I've not used it myself, but knowing the developer(s) it ought to work without any problems.
