Need to have an article embed iframe. In that IFrame I need to show a module (e.g. any image/caption slideshow). Do you think Jwrap & Target can help me...
The module call have to be a full url.

Re: jwrapperbot & jtarget 1.5 native — support
This is to embed functionality from Joomla (Modules, components...) in a IPhone application that can pull article from joomla.
You can see (Only on Safari (or Iphone) my test application at — > http://weeverapp.com/app/www.grafcomm.ca
The first page you see in the IPhone Application —> “Entrée” is pull from a Joomla article with the Graf logo and an embeded iframe with the full url of my main site.
If you try to embed a module (e.g.:an image.text slideshow) in the article by a loadposition or moduleanywhere it’s not working because, most of the time the module ask for libraries or elements that are only on the joomla site.
My idea was to pull the module out of the joomla template (or using a second minimal template) trough an article embed iframe. This way the module appear in the IPhone apps in a “window” just like my full site in iframe fully functional.
I’m not completely sure if possible and I was thinking that jwrapper will maybe help me...
Thanks Infograph...
Good Day!

If you want to display ONLY a module, I would try to use a slightly different template that you assign to a hidden menu item loading an empty article where the module position is below the main content. Keep evidently the necessary menu modules to be able to navigate away from that page.
JWrapperbot may not help you in this case

jwrapperbot & jtarget 1.5 native Doesn't WORK !
I used the jwrapperbot w/o any success.
What I would like to do is to display a site that is under my domain and also under my joomla site. i.e. the Joomla site is at http://www.onlinedealoffers.com and the other site (php, MySQL) is under http://www.onlinedealoffers.com/daaw/.
In order to do that I created an article and I put the following line : {wrap height_auto="1"}http://www.onlinedealoffers.com/daaw/{/wrap}
Both plugins (jwrapperbot & jtarget ) are enabled
The truth is that I never got the auto height feature work.
Joomla! 1.5.26
Firefox 13.0.1
Chrome 20.0.1132.47
IE 9.0.8
What am I doing wrong?

The auto height might not work on all settings.
Does it work when you use the core wrapper component?

Thank you for your prompt reply
The auto height feature doesn't work with the core wrapper component, that was the reason that I started searching for another solution.
Thanks again
George

Re: jwrapperbot & jtarget 1.5 native — support
Hi . Thanks for this great plugin.
I have a important question. please help me.
How can I show only a part of a webpage?? for example there is a tool on another website and I want to show it in my website. but only the tool and I don't want to show all parts of that website.
is this possible??
for example, according to picture below: I want to show" only earth" in my website and the rest of page should be hide . So I used height and width according to the size of earth image, and I disabled scrolling, but How can I move the remote page (which contain earth image) to correct position for showing in my website?

Re: jwrapperbot & jtarget 1.5 native — support
I do not think you can. A wrapper will always display the target page left to right and Up to Down.

Hi, Thanks for reply
Isn't there any way to show all target page, and then template overwrite (or limit) the wrapper, so maybe we could show only a part of target page ?

See:
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_ifram ... nwidth.asp
you can add margin but not take off any.

Re: jwrapperbot & jtarget 1.5 native — support
thanks infograf,
I tried iframe. It could be exactly what I need if commands "marginheight" and "marginwidth" would work. but it seems these commands not working and they can't margin the target page.
anymore more ideas to solve my issue?
thanks

Re: jwrapperbot & jtarget 1.5 native — support
I explain again:
the wrapper IS an Iframe.
The margins works positively and not negatively.
This means you can PUSH the display of the target page further right and/or down, but not PULL it.
Your issue can't be solved.
