Determine installation date (of Joomla or module itself) ?

Is there an "official way" to determine the installation date of either my module or the Joomla installation?

Right now, I am using the mySQL-only "SHOW TABLE STATUS LIKE jos_users", which returns (among other values) the creation date of the table.

I could use this also....I installed a couple of extensions/mods and then walked away from the computer because I had some things come up...

Now, my template is broken at the top of the page. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and that didn't work.

I'm lost as to what caused this

Extensions, Manage. Show all. Sord by ID. HIGHEST ID is usually the last one installed. Just saved myself too phew
