Virtuemart - Confirmation page not showing shipping address.

On the last page of the checkout process, the page tells the customer to confirm the shipping address and payment method, but the shipping address doesn't show. Here's a screenshot:

Anyone have any ideas as to why this happens?

Once I had this problem, I solved it configuring the store address format in the virtuemart administration page (Store->Edit Store, I'm not sure if thats the menu for you because I use it in spanish).

There you can use placeholders like:

{storename}
{address_1}
{phone}
etc ...

This placeholders are replaced for the users shipping address info in the confirmation page.

I don't know if this is your problem but it was mine because I deleted this format by accident.

It's not working for me I'm afraid.

Virtuemart 1.1.8 - Store Address Format placeholders in admin are not showing in the designated Shipping Address area at checkout/ step 4 / confirmation page for some reason - the information isn't being read.

Current placeholders in the Store Address Format section in admin are:
{storename}
{address_1}
{address_2}
{city}
{country}
{statename}
{zip}
{phone}

If I type a word into the same section, you can read the word - but the placeholders aren't pulling in the shipping information from the user.
No one can select shipping.

Any other suggestions please?
Quite urgent... this is a client's site.

It turns out that Joomsef is causing the problem
I purchased the Joomsef VM compatibility extension, but it's still an issue.
I've read that they also have an apparent https work around or hack (not sure which - might be an addition to the .htaccess file), so I'm going to try to get in touch with them to find out.
Anyway... bottom line, Joomsef and sh404sef have both been reported as problematic with Virtuemart and https pages. Contacting those individual companies may help to sort the problem.

are you using .htaccess enabled?

Hi everyone,

I am using virtuemart 1.1.8. When a customer selects "Checkout" and it works fine and takes the customer to the next screen. My problems begin with the next step. In the next screen the customer can "Update Address" for the Billing Information or he/she can "Add a new Shipping Address" (in addition to the ship to default same as billing address). If the customer chooses "Update Address" then on the next web page the web form is missing the field/box for "State/Province/Region*"......the subject label is there on the left side but the field/box to enter the information is missing. I believe this in turn causes a subsequent problem of not being able to save any updated address information that is entered. The same "State/Province/Region*" problem happens for the "Add a new Shipping Address" web page, and in turn seems to cause a subsequent error message ("Please make sure the form is complete and valid") if a customer tries to "Save" the shipping address information.

I will be happy to give you the login information if that is necessary.

The only placeholder, which does not work for me is: {phone} - does not extract the customer phone number from the database, thus same is missing in the order confirmation page. It works with the admin (store) phone number. I tried to use {phone_1}, {phone_2} but no success. Any idea what might be causing this?
