How to remove "Powered by phocadownload"

Dear friends, good morning/afternoon all.
Is it possible to remove "Powered by phocadownload" from page?

I'm using latest version of Phocadownload (1.3.2) and what I only know is that I have to remove follow:
$this->tmpl['ab']

but I don't know in wich file I have to remove that!
May you help me identifyng that file?

It is GPL software so you have the freedom to edit the code. The GPL licence only applies to the copyright statements in the code itself it does not apply to the output of the code.

Hey this is great way to remove ""Powered by phocadownload"

- Open your web editor ( ex:Dreamweaver), open one of file in that component ( u can extract first ),
- try to find word of "Powered by phocadownload" ( find in folder, search code ).
-wait in scecond.....and u can find it

Sorry, I don't understand why some extension is "stupid" if it uses back link which helps the project to be better :-( Which helps bringing new features for users.

But of course, you right, the user should get maximum freedom. He/she can get the extension for free, translation for free, advices in forum for free and if he/she will help to the project then the version without link.

And if you don't like this extension e.g. because of the link, just don't use it. But please, don't call it stupid if you don't want to use it. There are some users which appreciate it, so they are using it. This is why I have made it PUBLIC. I have made it public for users who wants to use it, not for users who don't want to use it and who call it stupid. :-(

The only one solution for this is go to Phoca website, contact him and donate. I did that and i get files which let me hide "Powered by Phoca" and to be OK with him.

If you like his work, donate it! Thanks to these stupid hacks, which is really not so hard to find how to do it, some of Joomla awesome developpers will leave community as well. How many good extensions is abandoned? Thanks "hackers" for this!
