Best Webinar Event Registration Extension

We would like to create our own online streaming web event using Joomla. We plan to hold individual events on our site integrated with live video streaming and a flash based powerpoint presentation.

We were using GotoWebinar but recently had technical issues with their software based webinar system. We are considering Adobe and DimDim (flash based) services but would prefer to host our own webniar using Joomla. Why not??? It should work, right?

I have most everything I need except a registration system.
I need a reliable, easy to manage registration extension to invite participants, have them register for the event, then once they have filled in their contact details and had their email address verified, we email them a time-sensitive link to our event page.

After the live event is over the event site link is expired and all participants are emailed with a Thank You message. A report is then generated listing all participants of the event.

This is essentially what GotoWebinar does for each webinar event.

Is there an extension like this? Or is there anything I can rig up to make this work?

I am considering RSEvents. Is this a good choice?
Any other options or canned soluitions?

wow, shocked nobody has responded to this post.

I am also looking for an all inclusive joomla method for hosting webinars. Currently have JomSocial and Event Registration Pro installed on a joomla 3 site, just need a way to integrate with 3rd party such as Join.me or GoToWebinar. I have found a few potential solutions (now that it's 2014) which I'll include links for below. If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just not sure if it's worth the hassle of setting up a streaming media server or if paying for streaming hosting is worth the additional cost. Obviously the preferred method is open-source and free.
