Hello,
I am creating a website for a deli. Everyday the deli has a different set of specials they update in the morning.

Right now they are doing this by editing the same article every morning. However, some mornings they forget to edit the daily specials article. Or don't edit it first thing in the morning. And as a result the previous day's specials are displayed - this is very unprofessional.

It would be great if there was an extension out there that, at say midnight would switch the text over to say something like "call us for today's specials" until they come in and edit the daily specials article.

Is there anything out there to achieve this goal?

You can set when articles start & finish publishing under "publishing options" in the admin, no extension is needed. You can create all the specials for the week with each day as a different article set to publish/unpublish at midnight...
