mod_yoo_carousel loads 4 images instead of five

Been trying to update a site and load 5 or 6 images instead of the current 4 using Yoo Carousel for a site I am updating. In JED I saw this extension has been unpublished by developer request. So I went to the Module You_Carousel and adjusted its settings to load 5 images and I also added an image to the same folder where all the other images are loaded from. It does not load somehow though. I also do not see any additional code with a hidden element for the slide number five so I guess it not an image issue. Changing from random order to "first added first" does not seem to help either. How can I make this slider work with 5 or more images under the latest J! 1.5 ?
