RSForms Pro - populating one form with values from another

Hi,

I am trying to setup a form for work that (when submitted) will generate an email to a specified user with a link to another form that (when clicked) opens the next form with the values form the previous form.

At the moment, I have been using this article as a guide (below) but i can't get it to work.

It emails the specified user with a link but the submission ID isn't being generated or picked up in the next form. Any ideas?

The submission ID must be retrieved from RS Form after saving the form. You can just query the database for the last submission ID (if you have a low traffic website) in the "Script called after form has been processed". Once you have the submission ID, you can just grab the data in the second form using that submission ID.

By the way, I'm not sure if the above method will really work for you since you are using a very old version of Joomla/RS Form Pro.
