Virtuemart no longer accessible in Backend

I'm newly responsible for website maintenance at my organization and haven't had much trouble yet, but this morning I was notified by a customer that they couldn't check out through my site's store. I use Virtuemart. When I went to check out what was wrong in the back end, I clicked on the virtuemart component I got the following error:

I haven't the slightest idea what that means. I'm hoping someone will be able to help!
