The first plugin I have tried with 1.5RC3 is multithumb

I have the Legacy plugin enabled.

I have read that multithumb doesnt work with Joomla 1.5, so I expect to get error messages, but in fact I just see {multithumb} on the  page, so I assume that 1.5 does not recognise or attempt to process the plugin.

Is that usual, or am I missing something?
