I'm a designer, not a developer, so I'm kind helpless here and am asking for anybody that might be able to help me out with this small little plugin.  It looks like it was originally created a long time ago by a biking enthusiast for Mambo.  I grabbed a hold of it back then, and it has become a handy little tool for displaying a Google directions field on my web pages.

Through the transition to Joomla! and it's subsequent upgrades, GetDirections has weathered each update.  Nevertheless, now that J1.5 is here, its days as part of my little arsenal of extensions are numbered.  I was wondering if anybody could maybe take a look at the code and tweak it for use on Joomla 1.5.

I know I would be eternally grateful, and I think others would appreciate acquainting themselves with this handy little plugin.

I used this mambot in a site I made for my brother and it works like a charm! If you're not in a hurry I will give it a try...

I'm in no more of a hurry than you feel you can accomplish.  With J1.5 so new, there are definitely other components and plug-ins that still have to be upgraded by their developers before I can start upgrading my sites.  So, there's time.  This being one of the only things I have that's no longer supported (while also being one of my most popular assets), I just wanted to to at least get the word out.
