There is a simple way, pls find the configuration.php in the root directory. Open it and find (at about line 9 to line 11) the followings:
var $sef = '1';
var $sef_rewrite = '0';
var $sef_suffix = '1';
Change the value from "1" to "0" accordingly and then save this file, that will disable SEF immediately.

Thanks very much for your help!
I downloaded the configuration.php, however there seems to be nothing in it  ???
Then I downloaded configuration.php-dist, I found these lines below:

Code:
        /* SEO Settings */
   var $sef = '0';
   var $sef_rewrite = '0';

??? ???

When I try your link I go to the following...

http://www.redevo.net/joomla15/installation/index.php

This seems to be pointing at the installation directory. Hope this helps.

Ya, that's true. But if I put the installation directory back, it'll give the following message:

PLEASE REMEMBER TO COMPLETELY
REMOVE THE INSTALLATION DIRECTORY
You will not be able to proceed beyond this point until the installation directory is removed. This is a security feature of Joomla!.

Yes, what i meant is: If I put the installation directory back, I'll see the message above. If I delete it, I'll get a page not found error message... Just some information in regards to BaldrickThe4th's reply...

Hi,
I'm French and I don't really understand all the time  ???

I really love this template, is it good working in joomla 1.5 ?
I run it in joomla 1.5 RC2, but so I wait for the 1.5 final to install this template, it is so good !!

But along those 5 pages, I don't really understand if you spoke about the template or joomla 1.5 program... :-[

Thank you for the help.

Hi there~ Thank you for this great template. Very professional, yet not boring.
Would you please take a look at the attached screen shot and suggest why the search module (in User 3 position) is not placed as you present on your screen shots?
Thanks a lot for your help...

Mat-D-Rat - thanks for your suggestion.
Based on the screen shot of the template I assumed the Search module was to be positioined in User 3 but you are right -> User 4 worked like a charm (the white curved background is one pixel off but that's easy to fix).
I should have checked the php file for the template first b4 bugging you, guys.
Very much appreciate the prompt response...

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If you really wanted to test pre IE6, go to http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE?page=2 - I use it for IE6/7 but not any versions before. To be frank, I would not support IE5 in the slightest.

@libaizhuo

I have not tried the new version on 1.5rc3 yet ... but here are a couple minor problems I had that still exist on your demo site too:

If you decrease the width of your browser so you have to scroll right and left, look at the top right corner when scrolling all the way to the right.  The section near the "font size" letters has the background disappear (turn white).

Same problem if the content does not take up the full screen at the bottom ... there is no background color under the bottom, it is totally white.

This is a nice looking theme, keep up the great work.

That can be overcome quite easily with adding to template_css.css, something like

Quote:
body {
min-width: 1000px;
}

Thanks  ;) I'm using IE7 and I've got a standalone IE6 (life saver), so it's ok for now.
