can you please provide sample page link from the demo site ? thank you

There nothing wrong in demo site, beacause there only one page here.
http://firstayudith.com/joomla/index.ph ... &Itemid=46
and http://firstayudith.com/joomla/index.ph ... &Itemid=47

You may try reproduce it by adding some more articles or reducing articles limit in those pages.
Then when you try going to second page, you should see nothig in it.
[/quote]

Oohhhh is this what you mean ??

Try compare this step by open 2 windows of demo site http://www.firstayudith.net/joomla/ and the other without www http://firstayudith.net/joomla/
-> go to Example Pages -> Category Blog
Scroll to the bottom and you should already see the different between the two  ???
When you go to Page 2 you'll see the blank article in the first window (using www) :o but not in the other one.
And I don't have any explanation for that case  :'(

I think it's possibly a Joomla bug?

don't worry - it's a problem of joomla, please don't forget that we are in a RC environment...  ;)

It may be joomla bug. But i noticed many weird behavour when changing page in this template:
  blank articles
changed some setting, which cause problem. I will test with default tempalte later.
http / www (which you described) did it also cause problems with other templates

While everything seems fine in others.

Despite that it is nice, highly custumazible tempate, i only disliked double footer, which in my opinion takes too much place.

please check your setting. i'm sorry you experience such weird behaviours. the template should not create blank articles or missing pages.
but i appreciate your overview and opinion on my template  ;). thanks!

I checked several entries with most replies today, thought I've seen all the best,
but then I found your entry, which, couldn't agree more IMO to be one of the Top 5!

If I can suggest some improvements:
  • Can you make the menu list (li) hover-highlighting to full rows, instead of partial block highlighted? Currently link only highlighted when visitors point to the text, and not the whole block.
..May be you'd want to check this and this for instances..
  • Also suggestion for menu lists listed under Latest News & Popular on the front page..

Bottomline: Great template! Keep up the good work, Doengs! You rock! :pop

Very nice template, the only thing missing to make it perfect for me would be a navbar where the breadcrubs are.
Some of us still love the old fashioned navbars.

a perfect template doengs! particularly with the new 'wrapper' feature. There are sofar very few templates who offer the possibility of a full width iframe. And moreover the choice of menu left or right. And the colours!
In particular the site is very stable: no jumping from left to right when moving from one menu item to another. I have adopted the template for my experimental site  (not yet fully operational) and everybody can watch it if they wish to do so (http://www.anovo.nl)
For me Firsta Yudith is the winner

I really love your template, and as a newbie to Joomla! would like to use it for my site, at least until I figure out how to write my own.

I found that under template admin... params.ini is unwritable? Tried changing parameters of other templates and they were writable. Your template is the only unwritable one. Because of this, I'm unable to replace images, like the logo. Am I doing something wrong, or did I just stumble on something?

I have permissions to read and to execute, but not to write (555). If I try to change these settings, they do not save. As I wrote before, this is only the case for this particular template (but for more files and folders that came with it). In other templates I can change permissions without any problems.

dico ze frenchy: it is clear that you are French and a newbie in joomla and that your english is not too perfect. Never mind.
javanya is not equal to javanese.
French has also different meanings, which one is your favourite in your name?
To change the subject: you can see the Javanya template on my website: http:www.anovo.nl and compare it with a few others.

Thanks a lot! it's very nice to be able to compare the various templates.
Can I suggest you update the ja_purity template on your site? newer versions resolved a div sizing problem in firefox (scrollbar in the content pane).

Angelo.

Angelo, as far as i know it is the latest version of ja_purity. Glad to hear that my experimental site serves a useful purpose.
