If you are talking about problems with custom title and logo appearing, there was a problem which used to occur when error reporting set to E_ALL, now this problem has also been removed and custom logo and title work on all error reporting levels.

I will PM you with the rest in a while. (I am running RC2 but will update and try RC3).
Basically, my problem is that "topmenu" and "searchmodule" does not appear in the same area and with the same style as in your demo.
Maybe a config question - it is very diffucult to find information on how to config the topmenu/searchmodule.

What do you mean by that? By default when the template is installed the Joomla logo appears in the upper left in the header. If configured so from the template admin a custom title and slogan may appear.

And, again, the term "fluid" is improper. Large would fit better, although 1050px is medium these days.
This is a fixed width template, not a fluid one.

Links and CSS now work. Except for polls vote and display results.
Title and slogan display, but..

I really like your template.

But I did find one small glitch. When you turn on " Search Engine Friendly URLs" the subcategory links under the FAQ menu loses the theme. When I turned it back off, everything works great.

While I was at it, I remarked that you are using a script called fusion charts for your polls.
Apparently this script is a proprietary one (bold by me)

We are using the free version of the FusionCharts library, the same as the found on the following url:

It is used in our template in accordance with their terms of use. There it is explicitly stated that

This should also solve the FAQ and poll results lack-of-style problem under friendly urls when mod_rewrite is enabled.

Mike,

Best way to deal with this is to switch on lang debug and go to your template in the temp manager, then note down all of the strings marked with question marks; these are the strings which are not translated. You will need to check all drop-down menus for text too. Text surrounded with two dots have the correct references in the language file.

Once you have all the missing strings, simply input these into the language file, followed by the display text, eg:

TEMPLATE_PARAMETER_NAME=Template Parameter Name

...then add these reference names into each template parameter of the XML file.

Take a look at some of the other entries for examples - both mine and WhyId have a range of simple "translations" that you can use for reference.

Regarding this issue, we tried reproducing the problem but up to no avail: A fresh installation of the template in a subdirectory (not in web root, equivalent to your example) over a fresh Joomla 1.5 RC3 installation does not result in the reported error in polls results page. The chart is generated properly.

introduces a component/poll/ part before.
It can't succeed.

We have changed the way the link prefix to the flash chart object is generated and now it should work correctly at your end too (so far it hasn't generated the link in the reported strange way on any of our test installations, but hopefully the new generation method that we have included in the last zip would be more universal).

We would be glad to let us know if it worked.

Fixed, there was a problem on windows platforms, related with the different directory separator. Now fixed in the last zip.

Sorry but again i discovered a problem. Charts arent displaying at Mozilla Firefox. Vote is going to poll but chart is not being displayed.

And also i cant see at first vote, last vote etc. information no matter what browser i am using. Is this a property of template?

A bug in the version uploaded today at about 3.30 pm GMT+1.

Admin language strings are not working in the drop down lists. The Description shows up (Slogan Font, Site Title etc.), but the dropdown options just shows up as FONT_ARIAL, COLOR_BLUE etc.

Also, the site description just appears as TEMPLATE_DESCRIPTION.

Sorry but again i discovered a problem. Charts arent displaying at Mozilla Firefox. Vote is going to poll but chart is not being displayed.

And also i cant see at first vote, last vote etc. information no matter what browser i am using. Is this a property of template?

Hello Faith,

Not only that we have tested the charts with several versions of Firefox, but we generally use Firefox during development.

Not sure what exactly is causing the problem at your end but I would suggest updating your Firefox installation or uninstalling it and installing a new one. It might also be a problem with your Flash plugin.

But the Site Title (and slogan?) doesn't support scandinavian characters, such as æ, ø and å.

They appear as some sort of W.

There is a problem with polls viewing in Firefox on Windows.
Graphs are not displayed due to backslashes in swf path in FusionsCharts.php.

To solve that problem insert;
