The best template so far in this event. I'm sure it will be the winner. Very professional but still simple. I love it! |

Very nice and clean design. Only one thing, the sub sub menu of suckerfish menu seems to be a bit off? My cursor always miss it when I try to click... Did you make it this way on purpose? |

From JA's previous templates, I would say its a design element but I did miss my cursor a few times, maybe a slight adjustment? |

What the problem with that page, zorroh? You mean that the small arrow in the "_text suffix" module? The module is excluded from the collapsible function now and the arrow is out. Quote: when you switch to layout page in demo you'll see this problem

It seems that I have made a mistake when creating a new account to make the submissioon entry. I have another personal account ftumind. The username JoomlArt is created because I though it's better to to represent for JoolArt. I have sent an PM to Brad to correct this. I believe I will not violate the Rules if I decide to delete the other account of mine |

I love this template! Is it possible for me to make it fluid width, even if it means diving into the CSS? Thanks! |

Rapunzl wrote: Thank you javcafe! Now I have to figure out what customizations to make since I like the color AND the scheme ![]() This template is very easy for customization, specially in the template styles. The style of template is combined from 3 separated elements: The header, the background and the primary elements. The template provides 3 header themes, 3 background themes and 5 primary elements themes. However, you could also easily create new one based on the existing. Looking into the styles folder inside the template, you could see 3 folders represented for 3 elements, inside them are the themes folders. To develop new theme, you only need copy an existing to new one and then make the modification. The new theme is automatically revealed in the template parameters for your selection. Hope you could build a suitable themes for your use.

Wow - I'd willingly pay for this one!!! It has everything I need. I think other submissions have a better "look", but the menus win it for me. They work with or without scripts enabled in all browsers I could find. Stunning example. I hope it doesn't win though as I don't want the rest of the world looking like my site!!!! ![]() Just noticed that the scripted menus don't work well when the font size is changed. largest and smallest fonts make the menus look a little messy. Still love it though! |

Thank you for your notice. I agree that the font size for navigation should not change while changing the site font size. |

Apparently they copied someone else's design a while ago (read this) so I'm somewhat suspicious of their entry. vredeling, unless the old .biz site's been changed, I don't see it. I do see the similarity in the Nautica theme though. I hope neither case is true, because licensing/copyright should always be respected. just compare: this with: this (see 2005, 2006), this or this |

Rapunzl wrote: hmmm... any comment from JoomlArt? ![]() Come on guys...this is not the first thread in this competition to start vilifying the contributer. We're supposed to be a supportive community. Please take any issues like this offline and deal direct. It just doesn't seem fair to make contributers defend themselves in this public way. It is just so easy to trash someone's reputation unfairly. |

You're all right in saying that this is off topic. So let me say something about the design: I think it's very beautiful. It's simple and neutral, so I guess the big userbase of Joomla will like such a versatile design. It also looks like the source has been tidied up a bit. All in all 2 thumbs up for the design. (I do think the winning design needs to validate in xhtml-strict, not transitional). Good luck in the contest, and if you can find some time to explain what happened to the pixelpusher design and how you resolved things, I'd be very interested. |
