Sorry, the competition closed for new entries about five-and-a-half years ago.  How did you even manage to make a new post?  I thought the forum was locked  ???

I confirm competition has been closed for a while. Sorry.

Of your 3 templates, only one (douxeasy) has some (very incomplete) language files.
I have tested it and their name should be changed to en-GB.tpl_douxeasy.ini
as well as their names in the install xml, this to fit the template name.

what a pity for not to be in the contest, I see your ideas for templating as an original and fresh design...  :(

You would have gotten my vote.

A couple of comments.

1.) The increase/decrease text size buttons too closely resemble color change/template switcher buttons.  I thought it was to get to the red/blue/green versions of the template..  not to make the text larger/smaller

2.) There isn't a color changing option.  You have the alternative colors built right into your .zip, why not have color option buttons on front page ?

Very nice template!  I noticed you have two available for download:  douxplain and douxflat.  What's the difference?  Is douxplain the original entry?  Thanks!

Thank you for a great template.  I have tried several other templates but keep coming back to this one.  I have two questions.  The first is that my template does not fill the whole page when I view it in IE.  I noticed this after I upgraded to the latest version of douxflat to take advantage of the new color choices.  Your demo site does fill the whole page when viewed in IE so I am not sure why mine does not.  It does fill the page when I use firefox.  You can see my work in progress which is located at http://www.travelinfo4you.net

The second issue concerns column size.  I will have at least two sites that I am using the wrapper component to access and need as much room as possible to correctly display these sites.  I would like to be able to reduce the size of both the left and the right columns  so that I can continue to run some ads on these pages.  I have finally figured out how to not run the ads on these pages so that I have the full use of the right column but would like to be able to change the size of the columns directly.  I did try to change the size in the html  but that did not produce the desired effect.  Any suggestions would help.

For ther travellingfo4you webmaster, thank you very much for regarding my work to be your choice, First of all you have a problem with the left column size as your sitename doest'n fit, this problem caused by the long name. There are two choices to fix it, (1) You can mannually setting your sitename in a smaller font by changing the template.css reffering to the .dxDLogo{} decrease and increase the number to till you get your size fitted. (2) You simply design your image logo with png format and named dxLogo.png, and predict to fit the leftcolum then replace dxLogo.png in the same name, then in the back-end change logo style to image.

You shouldn't change the leftcolumn size because all transparent headers is designed to be responsible the color themes, if the leftcolumn resized into a large one it could break your design and layout, this is an issue for me to rebuild the template, then you will receive some fixes in the future.

I recommend you to wait my adaptive design for your site, I guess you need a template with the no-coloring background (only for white). This can be found in my latest design, keep turning here!

I see your site is tend to a complicated layout, so you'll probably need some recommendation in the future meeting, but for now I've noticed to customize the logo issues in the administrator back-end to meet your layouts. And also the left or right column customization.

thank you.
