How to add new project on joomla.crowdin
Hi all, I am looking to add a new project for translation on joomla.crowdin.com for a custom extension. I signed up on the website but does not see any way to add a project. Can someone guide me how to add translations for custom extensions?

Do you not put your extension's own files.
language\languagetag\extension_type_name\ ini and sys.ini files
administrator\language\languagetag\extension_type_name\ ini and sys.ini files
In your extensions xml file and zip them in the extension's zip file.

I think my question was not clear. I want to add my translation files to crowdin translations so that my users can translate them. Similar to the third-party extension translation projects created on https://joomla.crowdin.com/
I can package the translated language files into the package as you mentioned.

I suggest you read what was actually written.
Actually it wasn't unclear at all. Sadly that info you're asking for doesn't seem to be public, but hopefully someone who know could add it: https://docs.joomla.org/Crowdin#3rd_Par ... anslations
That said, you could also add it to the "regular" Crowdin at https://crowdin.com

Re: How to add new project on joomla.crowdin
Thanks @rued.
Unfortunately, the regular crowdin option is good for open-source extensions that do not have any commercial interests, and the source code is hosted publicly, e.g. GitHub. (as per their terms). Otherwise the word limit of 60k quickly runs out for a single file with few languages.
Hope someone who are using it can add the instructions.

Re: How to add new project on joomla.crowdin
If it's a commercial project it sure changes the premises, as Joomla is Open Source to its roots. Still it surely would be nice if anyone listed the terms and how to get a project added and approved on joomla.crowdin.com
Anyhow there sure is some other cheaper alternatives to Crowdin out there, not as good ofc, but still.
