My Joomla story began in September last year (2007). I wanted to begin a social care website that would compliment my career (social work). I began with (much to my shame) a simple flash based website. Soon, I thought I needed something that could offer me flexability and have a greater appeal to my target audience. My partner suggested Joomla.

So with a new Joomla installation I began to build. However, I was using Joomla 1.5 rc2 (I believe) and I was having issues with the registration and displaying of items how I wanted to. I did persevere and developed some good ideas. However, I kind of became a traitor at the end of the 2007 and started to use another developing CMS product. This worked for some months and I developed some really great features and ideas. BUT, here is where things changed and I found myself without a website due to this CMS not being as well designed when coming to upgrading securely.

Where did I go from here? Where could I go? There was only one option and I knew Joomla offered a secure and comprehensive package with great support. So I returned with new ideas, Joomla 1.5 was now at 1.5.2 and working a exactly how I wanted it to.

I have stuck with it, even with host problems, and changing my website, Joomla 1.5.7 as I now use is fantastic and supports everything I could want from a CMS intallation. I still have work to do, but I know that I have a reliable website with Joomla and couldnt ever have come as far as I have in web design if it hadnt been for Joomla.

Thank you for reading my not so well written post

Take care

Companion

I've been here long enough but never got around to posting in this thread as far as I know...

Until July last year, I'd never heard of Joomla or CMS websites. During the last semester of my university degree I decided to get a part-time job at a local IT company and ended up at RuttenTech.

Originally I was hired to learn and provide SEO services, but that role has changed greatly. After learning the ropes with Joomla, I work on all the new projects as well as perform updates and maintenance on the ones I didn't have a part in developing.

Joomla is a great piece of software when it comes to making websites easier for non-technical users to maintain their web presence. I find it rewarding developing on the platform for clients that have little knowledge of programming and the web. Basically, it's good to see more of the small local businesses around town getting their own sites out there.

Hello all,

I'm here to tell you all how I feel about Joomla!

Joomla for me has been a new dimension in "content management system" for me. It has done things for me that I wouldn't be getting done in this now short, and easy path. Joomla has done things for me that I wish I knew about it 10 years ago. Joomla is that good.

I first started using Joomla sometime this year (2008) and I have learned so much as much as I've been able to implement. Joomla is a step above "Just Doing It Right".. Joomla is now my official web site content management system. Maaannnnn, I wish I knew about Joomla years ago. :-[ The things I'm now doing with Joomla, in such a short period of time, I know it's the perfect arsenal for anyone managing web sites online.

You can do so many things with Joomla...[pause] you'll NEVER run out of ideas and implementations you can apply to it. Even by default, it's loaded to go up against paid versions of cms that couldn't and won't come even close to Joomla. This is better and easier for me for what I do than my Dreamweaver 8. Yeah, I'm a DW man, but DW doesn't compete.. (to me) with Joomla with executing and employing a web site. And let's not even get into the over 3,000+ extensions that you can add to the Joomla... and the mass-majority of them are FREE. Although they're NOT part of the Joomla core or it's naturalness, they make a web site do practically anything you're wishing in your web site to do. I kid you not.

In the last few days alone, something hit me while working in the back-end, learning it as I need to, and for some reason so much of the Sections, Categories, Menus, etc,. started making much more sense to me, I am now more advanced in Joomla, although I'm still a beginner Joomla user. I'd say in 12 months or less, I'll know Joomla like the back of my hand.

There are always functions and other designs, task and so on that you can do with Joomla, you'll never (for the most part) run out of options and formats, layouts and so on. You name it, and it'll do it. And if it doesn't do it, there may be an extension that can make it do it. Joomla has changed me in the last 48 hours more than I feel that I've learned in that months time of me first using Joomla.

And thanks for having such a powerful product because as of last night, I'm now 100% confident that when I install my future sites with Joomla, I don't have to install the "Sample Data". :D Yeah.... I've learned so much about Joomla that I don't want to use anything else to ever control my web sites. Joomla is all of that, and a bag of chip. :pop

To All Of You Noobs

Joomla, just like everything else that is out there is intended to satisfy your needs, and may seem to fall short at times or at one point or another. Let me assure you this much............ Work with Joomla and learn from your mistakes and try things and not be too timid on your approach, and you'll quickly learn the Joomla system... very soon too. Joomla does have a learning curve to it, but it's worth every moment you're working on it. Between you Doing, and you Searching, and you Reading, you'll learn Joomla quicker than you'll know it. Joomla is meant to be easy, and once you understand the flow of the menus, categories, sections, articles, and so forth..... and how they all coincide with each-other, you'll get a better understanding, and you'll quickly pick up on areas you may have been frustrated with.

I kid you not..... I'm so hyped and pumped-up from grasping a different and (or) more thorough understanding since the past few days, it makes up for the several months now I felt I haven't accomplished much with Joomla. Joomla has a learning cure to it. But once you follow up on that, you'll be a Joomla pro before you know it. Anything you desire for your site to have and (or) do, you'll be able to do it, and not only that, you'll be able to do it at the fraction of the time it would take to use a HTML editor of some sort. Joomla is all of that.. and more.

Some Helpful Beginners Tips:

1. Read the manuals.
2. Implement.. That means to "Do It". Get to see the effects of doing so. Learn from it.
3. Stay on it. Don't get discouraged and put it away. Stick on it and you'll master Joomla.
4. Come to the forum. Even if it's to read other posts, you'll always learn something new.
5. Don't start off with too many extensions. Get to know Joomla first. The rest will follow.
6. backup your configuration.php file, offline. That's your backbone. Keep it safe.
7. backup your database often. If you add extensions and so forth, they're in your database. It's not a pretty site to lose your database and don't have a backup. You might cry.
8. Don't post any questions or problems here and just wait for someone to answer your post. The majority of the people here are just like you. They have jobs, family, personal issues, etc..... and with that said, everyone here is just a volunteer. So don't just sit there and get discouraged and then post back complaining that no one is answering you, or simply put, you're being ignored. Do like I do.........
a. do a search
b. go back into the manual
c. try it. at least my house isn't going to blow up.
c. repeat a+b.
d. if none of the above work, then try rewording your post. Posts like...

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm Stuck
I Don't Know What To Do
Nothing Happening
I Need Help/Assistance
Can Someone Help Me

....etc.....

all of the above does NOT explain as best as they can in the SUBJECT/TITLE line. For each one above, I can give a sarcastic remark, and I'm sure many people do and that's why they don't answer at all. If you need help, then ask like you need help. Use SUBJECTS/TITLES like:

Error Message(s) When Installing Joomla
I Installed Joomla But I'm Not Able To Log In To The Admin
Article Doesn't Save To Correct Category
Unable To Resolve Image Upload Issues
I CHMD my files, but I still can't access the server

...etc.....

each of the above gives a hint as to what you're talking about. They give a clue. They will spark curiosity. Make your titles explain some, if not most/all of your problem.

And even still.... that's not going to guarantee you a reply to your post. That's why you have to do searches and implementations all at the same time. At least you're physically working on the situation and not just "waiting" for a reply that spells it all out for you. I'm not saying won't get it... but what I'm saying is that you shouldn't expect it. Show that you've done this.. and you tried that, and you're prepping for this when you write your request for assistance.

Don't wait days and days, then you want to complain, and all that time no one answered your post, you could have typed in approximated 20+/- characters in the search engine.... which is on this site, and could have found your answer in about 5 minutes or so. Show them that you don't need their help. Show them that you can run and implement Joomla just as they do. Show them that you're not waiting around for them to answer you........ in the meantime you're working on the solution, and if a reply comes in with a solution..... at least you didn't wait around.

When you get good and confident enough with Joomla, come on in a volunteer and help out the noobs. Show people what you've learned... just by you DOING.

I LOVE ALL OF YOU team members and everyone else that contributes here on this forum. This is an awesome forum to be a part of. I'll vouch for that myself, for myself, and by myself.

Although I'm still leaning Joomla, the joy I get out of just logging into my admin area gives me a great sense of pride and joy to know I'm doing it with Joomla. My experience with Joomla has made me appreciate it more. And the strangest thing may be to many of you is the fact that I have a great joy and passion to be working with Joomla. I want to be a part of this great community. And I'm not the one to spend time to focus on the faults. Yeah,, Joomla has faults. I have faults. And you have faults too. Give Joomla an honest try, and I'll put my own personal guarantee that if you stick with Joomla, you'll know it so well, in a short period of time you'll suddenly see doors starting to open for you. You'll be like a rock star. People will be begging you to Joomla them up.

Stick with the code, and don't give up and I personally promise you that Joomla will make the difference for you. It's doing it for me and I'm experienced in other areas of web site management, designs seo and all of that too, and that's why Joomla is my official choice for all of my cms needs.

Joomla gets my jobs done, and I have plenty of domains that now have Joomla on them. My work... web designing, data basing, and other aspects of setting up my site has been reduced in time-wise by approximate 75%. Now, when I add the extensions I'm using, my work (web site development) time is cut done by at least 85% of the time it would take me using Dreamweaver, FrontPage and other html editors and so forth. Once I master Joomla, I'll be able to take on 80% of what I take on now when it comes down to some one wanting a web site and (or) such and the site being full of all the perks and amenities you could dream of. But you'd be paying an arm and a leg.. and that's to get just a partial of a partial bit done. With Joomla and it's extensions, you can create a web site just by the description that someone gives to you, all without writing a single bit of code.

If you haven't explored Joomla yet, you surely don't know what you're actually missing. I just don't have the words to explain Joomla :D .

Keep up the great work!

I've been designing web pages for more than 10 years, and had previously used a combination of hard code HTML and WYSIWYG editors to publish, then I discovered WordPress. However, as more and more sites go 2.0, I didn't want to be limited to a tool that had originally been designed for simpler purposes, so I've decided to switch over to Joomla for my personal site content management. I've been particularly impressed with the generosity and kindness of the community.

My Joomla story is that Joomla has been the best thing to happen to me since sliced cheese. I'm a complete embarassment to the human race when it comes to creating websites; heck, I could barely figure out how to use a bulletin board! I had given up hope that I'd ever be able to realize my dreams of having snazzy websites when along came Joomla (as provided by Go Daddy's Tools - a one-click install - hooray)!

Image

I'm now in the process of getting a site up and going for my community, and it couldn't be easier!

Image

Thanks to all the awesome people at Joomla, the helpful users in the forum, and the folks who spend their own time developing the add-ons!!! You've brought a happy little spark into my life and I couldn't be happier!!!

I stumbled across Joomla about 1.5 years ago. I have been in the aviation business for years as a business owner. I felt that our static html website was sorely lacking in so many different areas.

I have always been attracted to web design. My major in college was Communication -- as such, I saw then what tremendous power websites could have with respect to internal and external public relations, and marketing/advertising/sales. I decided to take the bull by the horns to fix my company's site. I found Joomla -- thank God!

Joomla opened my eyes to what I consider to be the future of the web. What's more, I was impressed greatly that this was a "project" comprised of volunteers. Amazing! In the past year and a half, I have learned more and more, albeit at a slow pace. With the economy tanking, I have decided to make some changes.

Joomla has renewed my creative side. This side I thought I lost a long time ago. I had always considered it a trade off losing my creative side for traveling all over the world and having the best office view in the world (nothing better than a window view from the cockpit at 36,000 ft). Now, the economy threatens my livelihood. I have been learning more and more about Joomla. I have decided to place my aviation company on the backburner and pursue a new company focusing on communication with an emphasis on web and IT.

For the small businesses out there, for the non-profits, for the independent business contractors, Joomla is an incredible tool. The site can be created, and with minimal training, can be updated by the end user quite easily. My new company hopes to include Joomla into their communication needs.

I can't find anything better than Joomla -- it is incredible, and I look forward to accelerating my learning curve as well as becoming a contributor in some form(s) or fashion(s) in the near future.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who contribute to the creation and the advancement of Joomla -- y'all rock!

Just over two years ago I was put in a situation where I needed to create a website for my son who was diagnosed with a rare form of dwarfism. I didnt know anything about webdesign, html, hosting etc.. So I decided to use a host that utlised sitebuilder, I picked my template, colour scheme menu structure and then added the content. All was going fine until 6 months down the line the host changed the graphic that formed the header part of the template. This image was not relevant to the site name and purpose (at the time). So I decide to give it a go and create a site from scratch http://alex-connerty.co.uk.

All was going fine until my wife and I set up a charity 12 months ago to help others like Alex, the reasons being I have two website to maintain from home, along with my own work and family alongside running the charity - online things where falling behind and I needed something to ease the running and maintaining of two sites. Some mentioned creating a site with php and a database????? I looked into this and found it was to time consuming and the learning curve was to steep. Then someone mentioned I needed a content management system - I got some quotes from web developers/designers - sorry I know a lot of developer frequent this site and more importantly need to earn a living but I nearly died when I heard the costs involved.

So I Googled CMS in early December came across several options tried them and decided to go with Joomla!

What can I say - well for a starter thanks to everybody involved with developing Joomla (past and present) - your have all stopped me ageing prematurely

Still need to tweak the charity site and add some more content then going to re-create my son's site!

John

Hello All.. :D

First, let me introduce myself. I'm a student from indonesia, i don't have much site like you people, i'm not web developer or even freelancer. my only site is http://www.joomlaxe.com and now this site is mess, no update, but i'm still workin on it to rebranding and redesign it.

first time i'm know joomla is from my friends, that time i'm 'attack' by website freak syndrome. i'm using manual html to my site, and in that time i'm very amazing, how does people out there can make a site very good, i'm know php a lil bit, and i think all people there coding her own php code for make ther site, WOW!!

But my mind change when my friends using a 'mysterious program' and now i'm know that it's joomla. My first reaction is WOW!! it's a website to make a website.. how can be like that?? i'm confuse.

And a day later i'm download the joomla 1.0.13 from httpL//www.joomla.org. I'm confuse.. Zzzz...
'lighting' come when i found indonesian joomla community at www.id-joomla.com and i'm learning joomla for a couple week there, the result... i'm can install joomla in my localhost..it's a big progress that time.

In July - August i'm want to making an online website, soo i decide to make site for my highscool graduate. i'm do what i'm learning for 2 months, ask anywhere anywho in id-joomla.com, and voila.. my 1st online site finished successfully.

From there i'm keep learning joomla and interesting how to make joomla templates, i'm learn it much from docs.joomla.org, and compassdesign. My 1st joomla 1.0.x template is very mess, it's was tableless but it's.. ahhh.. soo bad.. it's look different in different browser. but i'm keep learning, as word say: exxperience is the best teacher.

In middle october for the first time, can make joomla 1.5 template.. and i want to make a showcase for my site.. and .. done. its http://www.joomlaxe.com. From joomla i get more experience about internet, website, even about life, thanks joomla. you're part of my life now.

I am still thinking about Joomla. My siite, http://www.mandm.org.nz/ has grown so much and is really getting a lot of traffic now and I feel more and more conscious that it doesn't look that professional - at least I am scared it doesn't LOL!

I am frustrated with what I am using, I have tried a couple of other options but nothing quite does what I need so I am hoping Joomla will.

My biggest worry is losing my current content or it not moving accross ok - I need more information, I need to know if my site is compatible with moving over so I came here.

My site might not be to everyones taste but I will tell the story.

It started a few years back when Northern Ireland had the big 'drought', I know you guys are wondering what Im talking about haha well it wasnt a drought with no water it was a cannabis drought, probably the worst in Northern Irish history I kid you not.

Well after a few months some sleazy gangsters seen the gap in the market and started introducing contaminated weed at extorniate prices. This stuff (never seen before on our wee island) had all kinds of contaminants from silica to suspected embalming fluid, we will never really know as the police and goverment dont seem care enough to find out or maybe they do know but arnt informing the public, they says its illegal and that people shouldnt be consuming it to begin with.

So I foolishy tried to start a website based around cannabis and Northern Ireland. I had no experience with web developement and ended up putting it on the back burner as I was offerd a subdomain on another guys website.

The guy taught me how to add content (news articles' images and some basics).

Last month I decided to move on from that site and get back to my own site http://www.cannabisni.com . After a very stressfull week trying to restore my previous template and content, I got some advice on this forum and realised I was trying to restore a 1.0 template and contents directly onto joomla 1.5 which dosent work.

After getting the content onto the new site with some advice from dcadmin I was happy as a pig in ...... even though I lost my old template and images, but hey becasue of that I have learnt more in a week than I was taught in 8 months or so.

Now Im in love with the new Joomla 1.5 its amazing the only bad thing is I have had hardly any sleep thinking about it haha.

Big shout to the makers of joomla and the wonderfull extensions. You guys rock.

P.S Northern ireland and the U.K are still flooded with this dodgy cannabis which is far more harmfull that clean cannabis could ever be.

Take care
Phil

I started with multiple content management portal systems - I started with opensource ones such as Drupal, but found it way to complicated. After starting with Joomla a year and a half ago, I never turned back and don't plan on it

Hi, everyone!

I am thinking of migrating to joomla but some of my mates are trying to persuade me in choosing such system as Drupal.

galaxywebs shared his experience so I will contact him for some ideas ...

My story - the good and bad....

I first came across Joomla in 2005 when I really needed something more than the now defunct Postnuke could offer.

I run a community that focuses on alternative lifestyles in Australia, which although there are quite a few people who are willing to sign up for a site not a lot are willing to pay a subscription fee or donate to offset the setup and running costs of such a site. (1100 signups vs 25 subscriptions)

Joomla met most of those needs perfectly (apart from the permissions structure - which was fixed with JACL and AEC) - however in the time since I have started to become frustrated with the "commercialization" of Joomla.

I realize that developers spend a lot of time on producing their extensions and should see something back for their effort - but I sometimes wonder about the morality of making money off the back of an open source project - to me it defeats the purpose of a project being open source in the first place.

In most Joomla has met my needs well - in fact very well up until 1.5 and realistically IMHO to get the most out of Joomla one should go to Joomla 1.5.

But now the issues have started - it seems that to get the functionality that I would like to see in my site, it will cost money, in some cases big money.

When your association has $AUD 200 in it's PayPal account it is hard to justify to the committee paying 60 Euros to someone to get a subscription gateway working so you can generate more revenue or even $US 29 for a 1 year subscription to a calendar that works like we want it to (recurring events on first Tuesday of month for example) and let's not get into stuff that would really make a site pop like JomSocial - that is right out of the market for groups like ourselves and I am certain that they are others out there in the same situation - small clubs, groups or non profit organizations that could grow but aren't in a situation to afford the modules or components that would help them grow.

It is a real catch 22 situation - and perhaps something developers should look at - I don't know.

I made an estimate of what it would cost me to build our site to the standards that would make it interactive with functionality and encourage site members to contribute to making it a successful site and I came up with the figure of roughly $AUD 700 and that is figure that I can't justify paying myself in the hope that people will see what such a site offers and be prepared to donate or subscribe to in order to offset that initial outlay. Not that I am even in the situation to pay that sort of money and the group even runs from a server on my ADSL connection so we don't have ongoing hosting fees - fortunately my monthly bandwidth covers the site traffic.

Will it become a situation where the over commercialization of Joomla and the push towards a high end commercial market will kill off the "golden goose" and gradually lose the user base that helped make it so popular - after all we are not all big companies with lot's of cash to splash around - but we do still need a lot of that functionality that those big commercial sites use.

So my future with Joomla - uncertain at this stage - I am working on a migration to 1.5 but with familiar components not upgraded as yet or replacements being commercial - I may just have to look elsewhere and see what is out there.

It's been a good few years but......

I'm sorry I wish my story could have been more positive - I love Joomla but it is starting to get beyond my reach.

I was quite satisfied with Drupal and Wordpress but God knows what happened to me that I started looking for another reputed content management system that can live up to my expectation. Thankfully one of my friends suggested me about Joomla and its numerous advantages and that from that point of time my encounter with Joomla begins.

I was searching for shopping carts, and came across virtuemart. I tied virtuemart, and joomla. Then tried zen cart, and oscommerce.

I went through many carts, and KEPT GOING BACK to joomla, and virtuemart.

It was very intimidating at first because i dont know php, and there was so much to learn

NOW, I am soooo glad I stayed with joomla, and virtuemart. I have also made other people sites with joomla since.

Joomla has changed my business over the past 5 years. Also I've just notched up 2000 posts here on this forum. Open Source relies upon people "giving back". If Joomla has been good to you then help others.

There are well over 300 posts each DAY that go unanswered.

Cheers

I've been using Joomla for the past 4 years or so now, developed several extensions, and have learned a lot from reading forums and blogs in the community. I have never been involved in the discussion for the most part however, and not on the official forums as you can see from my post count. I figured it's time I lend a hand back to the community that's helped me! I'll try to answer what questions I can (especially when I can't sleep...) I'm also hoping to write more on the subject as well as release a few extensions that I've created over the years (if I ever find time to polish and package them.)

Mine is simple. I was already trying stuff on PHP/MySQL duet and was looking as of 2005 to a CMS that manage my upcoming site as I was planning to do so in 2006. I found 'Mambo' and play around with it till I know that the team is migrating -as I recall- to rebuild new way via 'Joomla' so I used J 1.0 since 2007 when J was 2 years old :D

What a great thread!

I run a Web development company and build corporate sites for business-to-business companies. For a few years we used our own custom CMS solution. It lacked in certain areas, but was easy to use for our clients - who are not tech savy in the least bit. When the economy took a tumble, I had to let my main developer go. At that time, I had little PHP and MySQL skills - mainly a front-end HTML/CSS dev. So I started learning PHP and MySQL to enable me to do the work that my developer was doing. During this time, I started researching off the shelf CMS solutions...I looked in Expression Engine, MODx, Drupal, and Typo3...and a little "peak" at Joomla. Why only a little peak? Well I had worked with J1.0 for a client and didn't like what I saw. As I got into some demos of the other systems I decided on moving forward with Drupal. It *seemed* like the better choice, and the Drupal people very passionately express to anyone looking at a CMS that Drupal is the best thing since sliced bread. So I dove in and started learning Drupal. After about 2 months, I had a good feel for the system and started to assemble my own personal site. At that time, I decided I hated Drupal. The template system seemed bizarre and too complicated...the CMS itself doesn't include any type of WYSIWYG type editor, and the admin itself was a cluster fugg. I knew if I had issues with maintaining my own personal site, that my tech challenged clients would be very unhappy. So that's when I started getting into MODx. I liked what I saw, and it was easy to get running on my server, and integrate a custom template. However, I didn't like how it had only a few add-ons to enhance the capabilities and documentation was non existent. So I put MODx to the side and looked at EE. Wasn't impressed, so I decided to keep looking. I decided to take a look at Joomla, even though my past experience wasn't a good one...but I chalked it up to not really understanding the system and not taking the time to. After downloading J1.5, and going through the tutorials - I was impressed how far the Joomla CMS had come. Started building my site and literally I had my custom template up and running after a few days. I was hooked, but what really won me over was the ease of use and huge extension library. The extensions offered for Joomla really help speed up development time. And to those who cry about paying or donating a few dollars for these are insane. I will gladly purchase a quality extension if it saves me time and money. And in the end, that's what Joomla does for me - saves me time and money, and makes my clients happy.

To the Joomla development team - thank you and keep up the good work.

I can't remember EXACTLY how I got on Joomla, it was a long time ago, but I do remember that I did try out pretty much every content management system there was, and Joomla was my choice in the end. The main reason was that the templating system made the most sense to me, I could use my knowledge of html & css better than what I could on the other systems. I want my sites to LOOK like individuals, and not just colorize content boxes on them! Most CMS's I tried were just not flexible enough in terms of what the site looked like. Of course there are still limitations with Joomla, but at least I can be a little more creative.

Also Joomla has a massive collection of extensions which is important to me as I often build sites for weird usages. I still often have to make a component do what it wasn't designed to do, but that is at least possible with Joomla. These days there's only two script packages I use, Word Press and Joomla, depending on what a site is needed for. WP for blogging and simple websites and Joomla for EVERYTHING else. XD

The only trouble I have with it is that the backend management of it is so complicated that if I have team members to share the management of a website, they're pretty much clueless as to what happens in the backend. You need a fair bit of patience to work with Joomla, unfortunately, especially if you have to do things with JoomFish...

Regardless, I love it, and apart from custom coded websites it's the best thing out there.

Here's my joomla story, I wanted to create a nursing review site for my students and I found joomla answered this problem. Iwent for wordpress but it is not powerful enough for student management. Unlike in Joomla I was able to implement an LMS plugin and manage virtual classes online. I have also setup a membership site for my students. It has been great! :) Thanks to Joomla, I have a very powerful CMS website.

Hi,

I'm totaly new in CMS tools. Google here, google there, and I've found Joomla as solution. Just building my new site on my own language. I am tired of reading stupid articles on some blogs, how to do this to do that...Joomla is big comunity and there are many people, like here, that are working with this CMS like pro. My story is simple. I want (sorry about my english) to help students in my country, for a start, with, done student works, projects etc. We do not have strong e-learning system, so books in E form is realy hard to get. That is my idea, to help them. Realy BIG wall that my head is landed is Joomla and SEO. I have found some articles about SEO, like SEO Elite and I think that will help me and others. Now, i'm learning and trying to get max of SEO and Joomla.

I started using joomla in year 2007 since then i have built hundreds of sites i think my best is http://projoomla.info . This website is kind of dedecated to joomla. Its where joomla users can go on and share there storys ,templates, modules and more. I like joomla due its incomplex layout. I have tried using wordpress but its nothing compared to joomla thanks guys keep up the good work
