It is not USERS we are talkiing about here.

We are talking about MEMBERS of the forum.

I don't know if anybody can guess how many Joomla USERS there are.

Maybe it you or me?

Also there has to be a you or me and others to get to the 100K
WE are really all part of the first 100,000 when it is reached.

I certainly could be, that people who don't post, are the people that find their solution of a problem by doing a search and satisfied by the answers given.

Ya know...I know the free commercial template has already been said...but what if we could Rockettheme to name 'that months' or the next one...after the screen name of our 100,000 member?

Suggested names: RokNewbie, Rok-the-cas-bar, etc....

Now less than 500 to go to reach the 100,000 members mark. This would be the second forum after Linux for me where I have seen that amount of remarkable traffic.

On the subject of members who don't post... I was actually a member for *months* before posting because I "joined" in order to post reviews of the first few extensions I really enjoyed. Didn't even bother with the forum until I had my first question.

After actually reading threads and responses in the forum though, I realized it was more of a community than a resource (so many forums on the net are unfriendly or unhelpful) and decided to participate regularly, and not just when I had a problem to search for an answer.

I have met Hagen Graf - and he is SO MUCH FUN and very supportive of the Joomla! community; thanks Hagen! :-*

Also, Andy Miller, of RocketTheme is giving a free template club membership. :-*

I have met Andy, too, and he is also fun and supportive of our community - although he does cheat at putt-putt golf. But, I suppose that point did not need to be mentioned at this time.

I will buy a Joomla! T-shirt and pay for the standard shipping.

Ah, the sign of a poor loser! Anyway glad to chip in, 100,000 forum members is a huge achievement.

I would think the number joining will slow down with all those goodies coming the way of the 100K entrant.
Every one is looking at the tally and waiting to jump in to collect the jar of cookies

Ty - thanks much for the hint! Given the rate at which Robin helps us in the community, this will likely be a major astrological alignment we are about to witness!
