I am not a big fan of David Blaines magic - i find it dull - i find it boring. But what i do find facinating about David is his want to succed in heavy physical feats.

I think this was by far one of his best speicals as it had me very much attached to my seat just to see if he could hold his breath for the 9 mins and only got to 7 mins 28 secs or something along those lines.

David isnt afraid of doing something completly daring and that I do admire about him.

If anyone else watched the special I sure would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Did you see the part where he was chewing up glass and pulling teeth?

I like to watch his magic tricks in the street, ya know why??  One reason... it is almost the only magic on TV to watch.

They had that one show with that guy in Las Vegas, can't remember his name, but it was this long dragged out thing with special effects and it was soooo theatrical to me that I couldn't watch it.

I like the basics, I like card tricks and slight of hand tricks.  Fun to watch for me, but that's just me.

While checking my spelling I came across this magic related news article, reads like a TV pilot pitch, the crime stopping magician.  :)

Well the point being it is not magic, it's practice, 7-8 years ago I could hold my breath for around 5 min now (last I checked was last year)  was only able to hold for 3 min 14 sec.

I think I should start watching TV again. It took me a moment to figure out who David Blane is!

His stunts can get pretty scary. I remember I couldn't last 5 minutes watching any show about him.
