Hi,

I'm trying to get a sidejob as a (Joomla!) website designer of the ground. But it's very hard to get clients. What is the best way to do this (outside of having a good Joomla! website where you offer your services)?

What is the usual amount of money one can ask?

Are there designteams in the Joomla! community one can join?

Maybe usefull, I'm from the Netherlands.

I would think that it would be no different than offering other web design services.  Small and locally is usually a good place to start, and then once your portfolio is built up a bit, you can try to cultivate business through wider and wider channels.
