i only know some Joomla! 2.5 and working towards mastering it. I know No php, no javascript and no other programming. Though I can learn them, but my current financial conditions doesn't allow me enough time. So, to get an idea please tell me how much can i earn working as a freelancer Joomla! 2.5 developer on websites like elance.com in a MONTH? I think making 2000 - 2500 US$/MONTH is sufficient for me during this time. Will it be possible with my only qualification at current time (Joomla! 2.5)?

You can also try to create a website to promote your freelancing services.

As Mandville has stated...... "accredited by who?"

I would not add accreditations to your site unless you have the paperwork and certification to back it up....
Reference how much money can you earn.... "How long is a piece of string?"

Everything that has been stated is very good, but there are 1000's of websites out there that can help, guide and define you as a person with who and how you want to move into the web development and web design business and make money.

But, it is not an instant hit.... I have for example taken a year to get my business to where I want it to be, everything takes time, patience and above all "belief" in your ability to earn the trust of your customers to build long term business relationships.

The others have stated that having clients is a good start, this is indeed true, but you also need to have the energy to go out and get these clients in the first place, and as stated you need a website to attract people to your site and its a good idea to also do some market research.

I went to three of my local towns in Brighton, Hove and Hurstpierpoint and went into the businesses and spoke to people to ask if they had websites and would they use a local company if they were very good at what they did. 8)

The response I received was very good and due to this market research I now have 45 clients in the last 12 months of trading.

I already have 18 clients this year so far, but that has been from pounding the phones 4 days a week and making 50+ phone calls a day and going out to see clients face to face to sell the services of website development, marketing services ETC.

Making money is good, but it is not easy to make fast money unless you win lottery or everyone would be web design millionaires :D

I seem to have warbled a bit, I wish you well and good luck.

the first two are actually a combined city so your geoseo needs adjusting  .
The clients that he deals with are totally different to the ones i deal with, and if they saw the prices he charges, they would fall over. But within my involvement areas, i am accredited/approved/nominated/ASoMW/5*awarded/legend in my own lifetime.

It all depends on the field you work with and what the relevant market would pay.

Mandville. I'm ashamed of you... it's Hove actually, didn't you know. ;D

The pricing I charge is not very high in comparison to many other web developers in Brighton & Hove or other parts of Sussex. Especially when I also add in SEO, domain, hosting and 6 page site! :D

Yups, making money from a freelancer using Joomla is not easier anymore, many freelancers out there have a option to done a project with underpayment, than a competition to get attention in bidding project site is more complicated.

In all seriousness, you'll be joining a very big group of people who do have all of the skills that you don't yet, and the majority of them are struggling to find enough work.

Unless you've got a spare year or two to learn what you don't know, I think you'll probably find it difficult to make a decent living.

I am sure you have other qualifications as well, why don't try combining them to provide useful services, not just joomla.

Its very hard to say exact figures of your earning via joomla.

It totally depends on client base you have. If you got a lot orders, You will earn a lot.
