http://www.alexa.com/ is a site that rgives info about page traffic etc...

I usually go to see how my favorite sites are ranked. For the last week, the site wasn't loading. I would try over and over, and it would perform poorly.

Today, I go to the site, and they have a messege that says my IP has been blocked. Furthermore, the page they provide for you to click on if the block was unwarranted is a dead link (for me) pages.alexa.com/help/contacthelp.html.

here is the messege:

We're sorry but you do not have permission to access http://www.alexa.com/. Your IP address, 24.5.186.253, has been blocked due to a possible violation of our Terms of Service.

This is an issue you need to take up with Comcast.
It is quite possible that your ISP has been blocked, or at least the netblock of the IP you are on has been.
