How do i upload pdfs and/or display pdfs? I want to at least link to pdfs that could be viewed or downloaded.

PDFs could be uploaded using Media Manager, FTP Software, or the utility such as File Manager available with the host services.

For uploading PDF files, you could also review extensions http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/file-management.

You could review the discussion http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=428&t=423461 to know about how to link a PDF file.

Display of PDFs for download could be done using extensions at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/directory-a-documentation/downloads.

If you want to embed PDF file in a content, review the extension Embed PDF (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/directory-a-documentation/print-a-pdf/14117).

i downloaded and installed "Enbed_pdf" plug-in extension. withe app: google. It work in Google Chrome and Firefox, but i just discovered it's not working in Explorer. The pdf won't expand and open up in another window like it does in the aforementioned browsers. So, what should i do? re-create the pdfs so they open up in Adobe??

I uploaded the pdf I wanted to display to the images folder.

Then created a wrapper module, with the path to my pdf file in the URL field. In my case /images/name_of_file.pdf.

Then embedded the module in an article using ModulesAnywhere by Peter Van Westen the genius from NoNumber. http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/coding-a-scripts-integration/embed-a-include/6402

As per the forum rles, changed the URL of the extension from the extension's original URL to the URL of the extension in the JED
