Yes... and if you scroll down, you will see
Chinese (Simplified) Translation Community
and beneath a link to the Simplified Chinese joomla! (core) language pack that you have to install on your site.
Joomfish will NOT deal with a language if that one is not installed for Joomla itself.
After you install the core Joomla! language, then you can install the joomfish language pack which deals with Joomfish interface only.

Thank you!
I did, then the interface of Joomla changed into Simplified Chinese, but another problem came, the
frontend shows unreadable symbols if I added a Chinese article. What should I do to resolve this?(I want to set up a Chinses site),or there is still some language
packs I have to install?

That comes from a mistake in the encoding of your database.
It should be set to a utf8 collation BEFORE installing Joomla, when the db is still empty.

That comes from a mistake in the encoding of your database.
It should be set to a utf8 collation BEFORE installing Joomla, when the db is still empty.

So I have to do is:
1, Uninstall joomfish and packs of language.
2, Change encoding to utf8.
3, Install them again.

Is it correct to do so?

By the way, encoding now is utf8.

Thank you again!

You have to check the database, its general collation, the collation of the tables and also the collation of the fields of the tables.
Use PhpMyadmin to do that.
If one of these is not a utf8 collation, then you have to REINSTALL joomla on a clean EMPTY database, then install languages, then Jomfish, etc.

Thank you,infograf768.
I have been trying to do this, there must be some unknown problems ahead.
I thougt JOOMLA was a fool's-like CMS,people like me can build web site without any skills :(
I think I should learn the beginners guide to joomla first.

Thank you again!

I posted this on joomfish.net, but I saw the discussion here in my research. After installing the joomla language pack for Simplified Chinese I still received the error described above. What I missed, and that I didn't see mentioned, is that you have to install the admin language pack as well:

I downloaded them both from here:

Thanks,jooosh.

I have already installed two packs you mentioned, now the backend language can changed to Chinese Character, but on "site",I think it means frontend,I can only choose from ENGLISH and SIMPLIFIED CHINESE(NOT REALL Chinese Character).

That's why?

There are 2 Chinese packs.
One is Simplified Chinese, the other is Traditional Chinese.
Pick your choice.
