Update 3.3.6 Problem

Post by amjadroboey » Mon Nov 24, 2014 6:14 pm

Hello
I have Joomla 3.2.2 and want to get the new update which is 3.3.6

when I do it through the Joomla update page where it tries to update it automatically, I immediately receive this pop up message "ERROR: the archive file is corrupt, truncated or archive parts are missing" and when I click OK, nothing happens and the update percentage stays on Zero. As seen in this picture Image

I then tried to do it manually through the Joomla Extension installer,
but after the file gets %100 upload, I receive this error message: "There was an error uploading this file to the server."
As seen in this picture

Suggest to enable error reporting in Global Configuration to see if it reports errors.
Verify whether the webserver has write access to the webspace by checking System Information->Directory Permissions

Or use Install from Directory instead of Upload Package File.
Issue with migrating? Include logs/joomla_update.php in your report!
Blank screen? Verify pagesource for HTML code (javascript error)
Installation failing on populating database? Install with set_time_limit(0)
Document your customizations!
