Google Chrome browser problems with our 1,5 Joomla

I am a new user to Joomla and have taken over a 1,5 version for our
company. I have a problem that when using Google Chrome the English side of
our Czech website does not work properly. Internet explorer and Firefox run
the site perfectly. New articles I have uploaded have been done so with
careful attention to the language plug in so that english appears on the
English side and Czech on the czech side!!
We are using an M17n language plug in - would there be something wrong with
this software?
