Re: I claim Issue 113 "Translate part of the Installation Manual into a non-Engl
I believe we have confusion on this task:
Elin recognized nitrosh as the one who claimed the task, first, for Catalan.
Four days later dbfelber, on Dec 09 asked to translate some of it into Hebrew.
Are you dbfelber on Google? Please respond, as soon as possible, to help resolve this. As of this moment, you do not have the task assignment.
Thanks,
Amy

Thank you, mtk, for voluteering your assistance.
There is a bit of a problem with the task assignment here. This has happened before; it is *very* confusing. Only one student can claim a task. Then, a Joomla! mentor, Elin in this case, must acknowledge the claim. The first student to make the claim for task 113 was nitrosh for the Catalan language.
However, Task 41 is available, so dbfelber (from Google) which I think is also afinemess (from Joomla! forums/this post) should *hurry* and claim that task and for the Hebrew Translation.
Hopefully, we will have this situation sorted, very soon!

Nitrosh - Yes, you were acknowledged as the claimant of 113. Please follow the instructions in GHOP Contestants Please Read: Task Process Start to Finish and create a new thread for your task.Nitrosh wrote: I think that Elin assigned me the task.

afinemess - if you *hurry*, you can still claim Task 41 for Hebrew. As of this moment, you have not successfully claimed a task. I responded to you in the Joomla! forums and on the Google site a couple of times, now. So, I hope you are able to address this soon. The rules are also very clear on this matter.
Thanks!

Re: xxx113 - Translate part of the Installation Manual into a non-English
Well, Issues 41 and 113 are the same:
Translate part of the Installation Manual to a non-English Language
Translate part of the Installation Manual into a non-English language
I can translate other parts of the installation manual to Hebrew (I wrote "I claim this task" for Issue 41).
Nitrosh, Let me know what you're translating please
Thanks,
Eli Zehavi

Eli -
Do you qualify for the GHOP? (Are you a pre-university student between 13 and 18?)
The reason I ask is that the rules state clearly only one contestant can claim a task.
It appears you found the open task I was hoping that afinemess might claim for Hebrew, since he cannot claim this task. Now, he cannot claim 41 and he cannot claim Hebrew, provided you qualify for the contest.
If you do qualify, that's fine. Please follow the instructions in GHOP Contestants Please Read: Task Process Start to Finish and create a new thread for your task.
If you do not qualify, please let us know so that the task can remain open.
Thanks!
Amy

afinemess -
You do not have this task. Elin recognized nitrosh as the one who claimed the task, first, for Catalan.
There are still 31 tasks available that you can choose from.
Thanks,
Amy

Eli opened his open thread for task 41 to translate into Hebrew.
Please post in his new thread if your generous offer of assistance still stands.
Thanks!
