Quoting the Original GHOP Issue,

In this task you will help the Joomla! team prepare for the release of
Joomla! 1.5 by carrying out a systematically organized set of tests and
reporting the results.

You will carry out the tests using at least three web browsers from the
following list: Firefox 2.0 Internet Explorer 6 Internet Explorer 7 Safari
Opera

In your report you should clearly indicate which tests were passed or
failed. For example you might want to indicate a failed test by using a red
font.

I never did get safari working on this computer, but I've got a few others I can snatch for that purpose. I'll do this tomorrow and have it in by tomorrow night! (or, in my time zone, tonight!)

Oh, and in the test guide, has "preferences" been renamed "parameters"?

Also, as fair warning for the core team, I have a few fails on my sheet already. Most of them strange bugs... but bugs non the less. Nothing, though, as of yet, that would prevent this build from shipping.

Sorry for the triple post. One last question - if this was a 2 day task, I'm guessing this is due tomorrow afternoon? That right?

The sooner, the better, of course! But, tomorrow afternoon should be fine.

If you are able to post your draft sooner than that, it will be reviewed.

The developers are meeting tomorrow afternoon - 1 pm your time. So, if there are showstoppers, we'd like to see them before that meeting.

Just hit the first show stopper-ish bug. Seeing as you guys have a developer meeting, I'll push aside that other thing I thought about doing tonight and just get this done!

Feel free to post what you have. Don't have to have it all tonight! It's late.

Also, don't forget, you are working on a frozen base and several problems have been resolved - and are in patch form. So, hopefully, you are stumbling on some of that.

I'm getting really accustomed to this list of tasks... I'm getting a system down on how to repeat it easily.

I've attached the work I've done on the first four browsers. IE6 is just getting running, and so is Safari... will have those done shortly!

Along with completing the tests, I've also made notes as to quirks that may be related to the guide, and Joomla!. Most of those are marked with NOTE or (Kevin8020) NOTE. All of the browsers are listed up top (along with some info on IE7 problems). I also failed the entire row for the authors filter per the guide's... uh... guide, but I believe that the action that occurs is actually the intended result.

Sorry for doing some weird stuff, but i decided to note unrelated bugs as I went... haha!
