Extend core components with plugins

Hi,

Sorry if this is not a very formal request.

To allow a more easy way of extend core components I thought it should be interesting that articles, users, categories, sections, etc... raise events when managed (onCreate, onDelete... this kind of stuff I'm meaning) or displayed or whatever.
The schema should deal with performance and security (others?) because they could be affected.
