Afternoon folks -

I am probably missing something really silly. I have changed the logo.gif. I uploaded it, and viewed it on my server. It was immediately changed to the default joomla logo. So - I renamed that one to logoold.gif and uploaded again. Now I have two default joomla logos.

What am I missing? Why is it changing my customized logo back to the default, and how can I stop it?

Thanks!

The logo is in:
Code:
/templates/ja_purity/images/logo.png

And it is a png file and not a gif file.

I have changed the png-file, but i want i bigger logo...
Im not into php so I dont know wich file I have to change.
The dimensions of original logopicture is 87 x 200 pixels. I would like to have it 300 wide, or more...

Is it also possible to change from png-file to jpeg or gif?

Yes, that is possible, depending on your template you might be able to just replace it with the image which is 300px wide.

Yes, however this depends on the template you are using. You will either need to look into your template's index.php file or in your template's css files.
