installation folder-problem when deleted

Post by boisedesign » Sat Dec 28, 2013 12:22 am

I installed Joomla 3.0. by copying over all the Joomla 3.0 files from my browser window to my site via FTP. I deleted the 'installation' folder from my site, via FTP. Now I get this;

No configuration file found and no installation code available. Exiting...

What do I do now?

Thanks in advance. T

Hope you have deleted only the folder named "installation" - not the entire folder where Joomla! has been copied.

Best way to delete Joomla installation files is clicking on Remove Joomla Installation right after finishing installation. Joomla does it automatically.
Now if you have removed entire directory then you'll need to reinstall joomla
