 Post subject: Meta Description problem

when i paste my URL on facebook post , it show welcome to front page .... jommla. web content and portal system something like this. problem is only with front page. pls help me to solve this problem

Change your global site meta description in Site->Global Configuration->Site->Metadata Settings (bottom of that page). As for the "Welcome to Frontpage"-part change the page title of your default menu item (found under "Parameters (System)" in the default menu item config page).

Already done this. But no effect.

Looks like the description is in Facebook's cache. Use the Facebook Debugger tool to find out more about how your URL will look like on FB and to also update the cache (did that for you ;) already, it works now as expected) -> https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug. You might also want to think about using FB's Open Graph tags since you allow FB to scrape your site's info you might want to at least determine what info FB displays.

By entering and loading the URL in FB's debugging tool.
