When activated SEO I am forced to login
Hi all,
I have zoo installed and have a catalogue site setup with public and regestered pages for the same products. When i activate the SEO I am forced to login to see the Registered pages and can't see the Public pages at all. Is this an issue with zoo?
Cheers,
Bruce.

I hope It will help you

Re: When activated SEO I am forced to login
Hi,
Zoo is supposed to work no probs.. with joomla seo turned on, so i think it might be a different problem. my spec is:
Joomla - 1.5.14
zoo - 1.0.7
virtuemart - 1.1.3
xmap - 1.2.2
joomlapack - 2.2.1
taxonomy - beta 3.0
this is my configuration with joomla seo turned on, virtue mart is turned off at the moment.
my test url is : http://domain2063104.sites.fasthosts.com/Joomla/
only the home page and articles are available without logging into the registered section, but the public pages from the zoo catalogue will not show.
HELP...
Cheers, Bruce.

Westfield4,
Just guessing here but looks like a Virtuemart config setting. Uggg. You are passing sessions in your URL. Not good for SEO.
I see your URLs are:
http://domain2063104.sites.fasthosts.co ... view=login
This is not right. Still looks like a virturemart config issue.
By the way, like your header. How did you do that? JavaScript or Flash? Oh, I see, it is a Waterpic applet (java applet). Very cool.

Re: When activated SEO I am forced to login
Hi djohnson1215,
I have removed Virtue mart as it was not strictly needed at the moment, removed taxonomy - beta 3.0 and purged the cache, now i get the 'you must log in first' on the home page and still can't see public files from zoo.
Header was found on the net, i will register it when we move to the proper url as the jave links to the registered url. glad you like.
Cheers,
Bruce.

Re: When activated SEO I am forced to login
Westfield4,
These may be stupid questions, but it is better to ask now.
Can I presume each of your menu item "Access Levels" are set as "Public" pages rather than "Registered" pages?
Also, please confirm that your "Section" and "Category" settings are set to "Public"?
Did you, by chance, upload a Db, or did you create all articles from this install of Joomla?

Re: When activated SEO I am forced to login
Hi,
I created all articles from scratch with this joomla,
I have one 'menu set' at the left side that is public, all items, and another 'menu set' set to registered when a user logs in,
my section and category are set to public, but zoo creates it's own items not using the category or sections, they are set to public or registered as appropriate.
REMOVED METAMOD menu module and still the same issue.
This is my demo not live site so you can login using...Name: user1 and Pass: test if you want to check out the registered section of the site.
Cheers,
Bruce.
