URL links to News Items return 404 error

Hi,

I'm using sh404sef on a Joomla 1.5 installation. When enabled, the news item URL´s (which I have feeding into a module, published on each page) return 404 errors. The URL link produced also seems not to be correct.

Interestingly, the link(s) which is generating the error seems to change depending on the page from which you are trying to access the news link (the module is published to every menu item), so......e.g. from Case Studies the error is :

The requested URL /Case-Studies/index.php was not found on this server,

from the Audio section the same link becomes:-

The requested URL /Audio/index.php was not found on this server

and so on.

I'd be very grateful if someone could please shed some light on what is happening and how I might resolve.

Hi,

Can anyone please suggest what might be causing this issue ? It only occurs with sh404sef enabled. All other links work perfectly - it's just those links which are contained with the news module which are problematic.

I really need to resolve urgently - no response from developer as yet.
