Enabling SEF URLS creates loads of index.php

Post by MrJapan » Thu Oct 02, 2008 10:28 am

Hi

I have searched and read white a bit here in the forums without any luck.

When i enable SEF URLs in global configuration joomla adds a index.php to the URL everytime i click a link. (i.e. http://www.mysite.com/index.php/index.p ... x.php/home). Resulting in missing images / gallieres.

I see alot of articles concerning these missing images, but must admit, I haven't really been able to cut it down to what i'm supposed to do to correct this.

What should i do to prevent joomla from inserting all these index.php strings?

Thanks you very much for you answers
