Article title instead of alias , friendly urls

Hello, how can i get the title of article instead of the alias when friendly urls are enabled ? i want a url like this

Code: Select all

http://localhost.com/news/recent/article-title
instead of

Code: Select all

http://localhost.com/news/recent/article-alias

The alias will be set to the article title if it's empty when the article is saved. Characters that will be illegal in the url is removed. That's why you cannot have the title as the url.

Hi Per,

In my case, our site was migrated from Joomla 1.5 to 3.2.1 and the titles of the articles are in the URL instead of the migrated alias text.

Any idea why that is happening?
