Hello,

I'm running a site that beofre was using com_content and AceSEF. I've worked on this site a while and it's getting good rankings in a lot of the keywords I'm after.

I decided to to a relaunch of the site. Make it a bit faster. More pretty. And a switch to use K2, because of the flexibility I could see a great benifit from.

Many of my searchwords have dropped after this. There could be several factors, but as far as I can see K2 and AceSEF just wont work good. It creates a load of not usefull duplicate ID's. It's been mixing between K2 and com_content articles as well. (Now I've depublished all com_content articles, so maybe that will help for a few of the duplicates).

I've tried to set up a site with K2 and sh404SEF to see if it's any smoother, but there I couldn't get any good controll over the url's at all.

Anyone got some experience using K2 and sh404SEF or AceSEF? I would like to discuss these components with you if possible. Share ideas on how to make them work good together.

Hi

I'm running Joomla 1.7, K2 2.5.4, and right now sh404sef, and going to give the free version of AceSEF a try.

What have you come up with so far? about 3 months after your post?
